Cory Hickson

Hello there! I'm Cory. My love for cycling started when I was around 9 years old. It was the typical movie scene: a neighborhood bike gang tearing through town. Occasionally, our group would find broken, abandoned bikes in the garbage. Wanting all my friends to have a bike to ride, I rescued and repaired the abandoned bikes.

My time with bikes was put aside as a teenager. During those years, I devoted all my time to a different set of wheels. I put all my effort into competing nationally and at the highest level possible in inline speed skating.

In 2011, my (now) father-in-law, Tim, introduced me to mountain biking and bikepacking. To earn brownie points (great, now I'm craving brownies) with Tim, I applied to his favorite bike shop, Summit City Bicycles and Fitness. To my surprise, I was hired! While working there, I rediscovered my passion for all things bikes. I dove all in — earning every possible certification through Shimano, Sram, Fox, Rockshox and many others. I was also fortunate to be trained by some of the industry's best. I learned skills in management, mechanics, and many things in between.

My love for biking has only grown over the years. I now have my wife, Jess, and our son, Callan, to enjoy the sport with. We love this community! Between KCV events and 2nd Mile trips, there is always an opportunity for fun.

Over this decade and a half of working, serving, and participating in our local biking community, I've created countless friendships and memories that have shaped me into who I am today. I'm beyond grateful for all of these people and experiences. I'm looking forward to shifting into my next gear, serving the community with Argon Cycle Works.

Noel

Hi, I'm Noel. I'm a Warsaw native and a lifelong cyclist with five years of experience working in the bicycle industry. I graduated from Colorado Christian University in 2026 with a degree in Outdoor Leadership, where I served as president of the Mountain Bike Club and competed in collegiate downhill racing. My time in Colorado gave me the opportunity to develop a broad background in outdoor recreation and leadership, with experience in mountain biking, backpacking, canyoneering, and backcountry skiing.

My passion for bikes started long before I entered the industry. I've been riding bikes and trikes for as long as I can remember, and that lifelong interest eventually grew into a career. Over the past five years, I've had the opportunity to work in bike shops and gain experience in everything from sales and customer service to bicycle maintenance, setup, and the details that make a bike perform its best. One of my favorite things to nerd out about is tires. I can talk all day about compounds, casings, sizing, tread patterns, and how small changes can completely change the way a bike rides.

Although Colorado became an important part of my story, Warsaw has always been home. I attended Warsaw Community High School, where I played soccer and became involved with 2nd Mile Adventures. Today, I continue that connection to the community by serving as a mentor with Chainbreakers. I'm passionate about creating opportunities for people to get outside, develop new skills, build relationships, and experience the community that bikes and outdoor recreation can create.

When I'm not working on bikes, you'll usually find me playing volleyball at Spikes, playing soccer at the YMCA, riding around town with friends, or making music. I play guitar and drums and enjoy singing as well. Whether I'm working on a bike, riding with friends, playing a sport, or spending time outdoors, I enjoy being around people and sharing the things I'm passionate about.

For me, bikes have always been about more than the bike itself. They're a way to explore, challenge yourself, meet people, and build community. That's the kind of experience I hope to bring to every customer and every bike that comes through the shop.
